La lista tendría más sentido bajo el título de "50 películas que debes haber visto antes de los 14 si eres niña". Salvo Les Quatre Cents Coups y The Night of the Hunter, todo cae en infantiles (obvio) y cintas sentimentaloides de esas que le gustan a las mamás. Buenas películas, sí, pero difícilmente esenciales a los 14 años. Soy lo suficientemente congruente para no esperar cosas como Dark City o Mishima en una lista así (y Dios los cuide de poner más cine no-occidental), pero la ausencia de The Iron Giant la desacredita en demasiados niveles.
